2024 is half over - I have spent most of the summer working on Cypress 24, a small drum leaf book of 10 sketches of the trees and grasslands of Point Reyes, California.
BANNED is opening on Monday, September 16th, and will be open Monday through Thursday, 1-7pm, until October 17th at the Metro State University Gordon Parks Gallery. My piece, Evolution, will be on view. It is an altered Book using pages from Darwin’s Origin of Species, banned for its theory contrary to christian beliefs.
The last half of September is filled with an artist retreat on the North Shore of Lake Superior, and a creative retreat in the Boundary Waters. This will put me ready to complete my artwork for my exhibition in the Traffic Zone Gallery opening on Friday, November 1st. It will be a busy fall!
